“On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.”
This is the day we pause
Memorial Day isn’t a celebration. It isn’t a day off. It’s a day of remembrance β for the service members who never came home.
Across Southwest Florida β from Bradenton to Naples to Cape Coral β there are families who will spend today at a cemetery, at a memorial, or quietly at the kitchen table, holding a photograph that doesn’t get any easier to look at over the years.
To those families: we see you. We thank you. And we want you to know your loved ones are not forgotten.
Florida’s military heritage runs deep
This region has one of the highest concentrations of veterans in the country. MacDill Air Force Base anchors Tampa Bay. Sarasota and Manatee County alone are home to thousands of retired service members and active reservists. Many of our own WrightWay technicians are veterans themselves β they served, came home, and now serve their communities by responding when storms, fires, and disasters strike.
That heritage matters. It shapes how we work, how we show up for each other, and how we treat the homes we walk into every day.
To Gold Star families
If you are a Gold Star family member reading this, know that your sacrifice β and your loved one’s sacrifice β is held in deep respect by everyone here. Your loss is the cost of our freedom, and we will not take that for granted.
How we observe today
WrightWay’s offices observe Memorial Day, but our 24/7 emergency response line is staffed as always. If a pipe bursts, a roof leaks, or any other restoration emergency strikes today, we will be there β because that’s what we’d want any of you to expect of a company that serves a community like this one.
To those who gave their lives, and the families who loved them: thank you. Forever.
