Labor Day is a thank-you to the people who build, fix, run, and maintain the country. In Southwest Florida specifically, that’s a lot of people — and they often don’t get the recognition they deserve.

The people we work alongside every day

WrightWay does a lot of restoration work, but we don’t do it alone. Every job we run leans on a network of skilled tradespeople:

• The plumbers who diagnose a leak we couldn’t trace and have the right pipe wrench at 11 PM
• The electricians who pull a service after a flood and re-wire a kitchen safely
• The roofers who climb onto a house in 95-degree Florida heat to dry-in a tarp before the next thunderstorm
• The HVAC technicians who get a system back up before a young family or an elderly neighbor has to go a single night without AC in July
• The framers, drywallers, and finish carpenters who rebuild what storms and disasters tear apart
• The painters who leave a home looking better than it did before the loss
• The warehouse and supply teams at our local distributors who never close on us

If you work in any of these trades in Southwest Florida — thank you. The WrightWay team works with you, learns from you, and respects what you do.

To our own crew

To the men and women on the WrightWay team — our IICRC-certified technicians, our project managers, our dispatchers, our drivers, our office staff, our reconstruction crews — Labor Day is yours.

You take 2 AM calls. You stand in standing water. You wear PPE on August afternoons in attics that read 130°F. You document, photograph, dry, demolition, rebuild, and clean up. You miss family events because someone else’s home is flooding. You show up on Christmas, on Easter, on Father’s Day, on Labor Day if that’s what the call demands.

We see it. We’re proud of it. Thank you.

If we’ve been in your home, you’ve worked alongside our crew, too. The phone calls with insurance, the photos you sent us, the patience you showed during a 6-week reconstruction — that’s labor, too. Restoration is a partnership. Thank you for trusting us with yours.

An honest plug for the trades

Florida — and the country — needs more young people choosing skilled trades.
