Soffit, Fascia & Gutter Repair
Soffit, fascia, and gutter rebuild after wind damage, water intrusion, or rot — sealed envelope, restored curb appeal.
What to expect from our Soffit, Fascia & Gutter Repair team
Soffit, Fascia & Gutter Repair in Southwest Florida
Soffit and fascia are the most exposed parts of a SW Florida home’s envelope — first to fail in high wind, first to rot from a roof leak, and first to fail when wildlife (squirrels, rats, bats) work an entry point. Once damaged, they create a cascade: water gets behind the fascia and rots the sub-fascia and rafter tails; soffit failure gives wildlife an attic entrance; loose gutters dump water at the foundation. WrightWay Emergency Services repairs and rebuilds soffit, fascia, and gutters across Sarasota, Bradenton, Fort Myers, Naples, and surrounding communities, using aluminum or vinyl systems matched to the home and engineered for FL wind exposure.
Repair Scope
- Aluminum soffit panels — solid, vented, or perforated; 0.019″ or 0.024″ thickness for higher wind ratings
- Vinyl soffit — for HOA-controlled developments where the original is vinyl
- Wood fascia and sub-fascia replacement — rot remediation and structural repair
- Aluminum fascia wrap — sealed wrap over wood fascia for moisture and pest protection
- Seamless aluminum gutter — 5″ and 6″ K-style and half-round; downspouts and splash blocks
- Wildlife-exclusion sealing — proper closure of soffit-vent and fascia entry points after wildlife removal
Common Damage Causes
- Hurricane and tropical-storm wind
- Roof leak migration into the fascia and sub-fascia
- Long-term moisture from clogged or detached gutters
- Wildlife entry — squirrels, rats, bats, raccoons
- UV degradation and storm impact
1. Assessment
Walkthrough with ladder access (or drone where heights warrant). Document failed areas, structural damage, and any active wildlife or moisture concerns. Where wildlife exclusion is needed first, we coordinate that step before sealing.
2. Demo & Rot Remediation
Damaged soffit removed; rotted fascia and sub-fascia replaced. Where rafter tails are affected, structural repair is performed before re-skinning.
3. Aluminum or Vinyl Install
Code-spec attachment to current FL Building Code wind requirements. Matched colors and profiles for visual consistency.
4. Gutter Replacement or Re-Hang
Seamless aluminum gutter, sized to roof drainage, with proper downspout placement.
5. Sealing & Inspection
All transitions sealed; final inspection and photo documentation.
Insurance
Hurricane and wind damage to soffit and fascia is typically covered under the wind portion of homeowner policies. Long-term rot and wear-and-tear are typically excluded. WrightWay is the restoration contractor — we provide Xactimate-formatted documentation showing onset and scope so you and your adjuster can evaluate coverage. We do not handle or negotiate the claim.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common timing, documentation, and service questions answered in a clearer format so owners and managers can make confident decisions faster.
Yes, and this is one of WrightWay’s greatest advantages. We manage the entire process from emergency mitigation through final reconstruction under one company, which eliminates the delays, miscommunication, and finger-pointing that often occur when homeowners hire separate contractors for each phase. Our seamless approach saves time, reduces stress, and ensures consistent quality from start to finish.
Mitigation refers to the immediate emergency actions taken to stop further damage, such as water extraction, board-up, and structural drying. Restoration, or reconstruction, is the process of repairing and rebuilding the property back to its pre-loss condition, including drywall replacement, painting, flooring installation, and cabinetry. WrightWay handles both phases so your property is returned to the way it looked and felt before the damage occurred.
We make every effort to match your existing materials, including flooring, paint colors, cabinetry styles, countertops, and trim profiles. WrightWay’s reconstruction team sources materials from a wide network of suppliers and uses color-matching technology to achieve the closest possible match. When an exact match is not available, we present comparable options and work with you to select a finish you are happy with.
Reconstruction timelines depend on the scope of damage, material availability, and permit requirements. Minor repairs may be completed in one to two weeks, while full-scale reconstruction of heavily damaged properties can take several months. WrightWay provides a detailed project schedule during the planning phase and assigns a dedicated project manager to keep the job on track and keep you informed of progress.
