We Work With All Insurance Companies
Filing an insurance claim after property damage is stressful. WrightWay simplifies the process by providing detailed Xactimate estimates, timestamped photo documentation, and thorough scope-of-work reports - giving you everything you need to submit to your insurance carrier.
As a licensed general contractor, we know what thorough claim documentation looks like - and we provide it from the very first hour on-site. We bill homeowners directly and provide all documentation to support your claim filing.
How We Help With Your Insurance Claim
Immediate Documentation
From the moment we arrive, our team captures timestamped, geotagged photos and moisture readings at every phase - creating an airtight record for your insurer.
Detailed Xactimate Estimates
We prepare line-item Xactimate estimates - the same software your insurance company uses - ensuring transparent, accurate scoping that adjusters trust.
Adjuster-Ready Documentation
Your dedicated WrightWay project manager prepares thorough documentation including moisture maps, drying logs, and scope-of-work details. When your adjuster visits for inspections, we can walk them through the documented damage and the work performed.
Supplemental Documentation
As hidden damage is uncovered during restoration, we document it thoroughly with photos, moisture readings, and updated Xactimate line items - providing you with the information needed to submit supplemental documentation to your carrier.
Complete Restoration
From emergency mitigation through full reconstruction, WrightWay handles everything on a single invoice - simplifying your claim and eliminating coordination headaches.
What to Do When Damage Occurs
When damage happens, the first few decisions shape both the restoration timeline and how clearly the loss is documented for your carrier. Start by slowing the situation down, protecting evidence, and getting a qualified team involved before cleanup creates confusion about scope.
- Call WrightWay first - We respond 24/7 and begin emergency mitigation immediately to prevent further damage, which most policies require.
- Document what you can - Take photos and video of visible damage before cleanup begins.
- Do not throw anything away - Damaged contents should be documented before disposal.
- Contact your insurance company - File the claim as soon as possible and keep the claim number handy.
- Keep all receipts - Hotel, food, and emergency purchases may support reimbursement depending on the policy.
- Do not sign with other contractors too quickly - Get clear documentation in place before authorizing overlapping scopes.
WrightWay provides documentation to support your insurance claim. We are not public adjusters and do not make coverage determinations or negotiate claim settlements on your behalf. We recommend consulting a licensed public adjuster or attorney if you need claims advocacy.

For emergency mitigation (water extraction, board-ups, tarping, etc.), we complete the full scope of emergency work first and invoice afterward – we never delay our response for pricing discussions. Our contract includes typical Xactimate rates for emergency services, and we can provide a ballpark estimate upon request. For reconstruction and mold remediation, we provide a detailed written estimate before any work begins. WrightWay bills the homeowner directly, and if you have insurance coverage we provide all the documentation you need to submit your claim for reimbursement.
A public adjuster is a licensed professional hired by the policyholder to negotiate the claim settlement amount with the insurance company, usually for a percentage of the payout. WrightWay is not a public adjuster. Our team focuses on providing thorough documentation, accurate estimates, and detailed reporting that supports your claim and clearly outlines the scope of work needed.
