Restoration Built for the Florida Insurance Claim Process
Xactimate-formatted scopes, photo and moisture documentation built for desk review, and Florida-statute-fluent project managers who understand the 1-year deadline and the post-2022 AOB ban.
Built for How Florida Carriers Actually Work
Every WrightWay project ships with the documentation your desk needs to settle the claim without supplemental disputes.
Xactimate Scopes
Every estimate is line-item Xactimate in your carrier’s preferred format. Sketch, room dimensions, and code-upgrade items pre-coded for desk review.
Daily Photo Reports
Timestamped, geo-tagged photo packages uploaded to your TPA portal or emailed to the adjuster end-of-day. No backlog, no surprises.
Moisture Logs
Pin and pinless moisture readings at every documented checkpoint per IICRC S500. Daily logs build the audit trail your reviewer needs.
Adjuster Coordination
Direct adjuster contact from the project manager on day one. Scope agreement before demolition. Supplementals filed only when warranted, with photos.
Fluent in the Florida Claim Landscape
What changed in 2026 and what every Florida claim file needs.
Florida Statute 627.70132
The 1-year deadline to file an initial claim, 18 months for supplementals, 60 days to reopen. We document discovery date on every loss so the claim file shows compliance from day one.
AOB Ban (FS 627.7152)
Florida banned AOB for any property insurance policy issued on or after January 1, 2023 (SB 2A). Your insured retains all claim rights. We use Direction to Pay or standard invoicing under restoration vendor terms.
Mold Caps & Riders
Florida policies typically cap mold at $10,000 unless a rider applies. We document the moisture source and water-event tie-in so mold work can fall under the broader water claim where coverage allows.
FL Mold Remediator License
WrightWay holds Florida Mold Remediator license MRSR1433. We do not perform the assessment ourselves (FL law requires separation), but we coordinate with licensed assessors and follow S520 containment protocols.
Hurricane Deductible & Storm Tagging
Every loss documented with named-storm tagging when applicable. Hurricane deductible application, mitigation timing per policy language, and storm-vs-non-storm scope separation handled at the documentation level.
Code-Upgrade Items (Ordinance & Law)
Where reconstruction triggers Florida Building Code upgrades, we line-item the upgrades separately so coverage analysis (typically 25 percent O&L) is straightforward for the desk reviewer.
Don’t Wait for a Claim
Two ways to engage WrightWay before your insured needs us.
Emergency Response Plan (ERP) Enrollment
For your commercial accounts, we offer free pre-loss ERP enrollment: facility walkthrough, Matterport 3D scan, utility shutoff documentation, vendor contact tree, and after-hours dispatch agreement. When a loss happens, response time drops from "first contact" to "execute the plan."
Adjuster Ride-Alongs & Lunch & Learns
We host adjuster ride-alongs on complex losses so your team sees the scope decisions in real time. We also run lunch & learns on Florida claim trends, Xactimate updates, and post-Ian/Helene rebuild patterns. Schedule one by calling (941) 379-8669.
Trusted by Carriers, Adjusters, and TPAs Across Florida
Documented work across 21+ years of Florida property losses.

Insurance Professional FAQ
Common timing, documentation, and service questions answered in a clearer format so owners and managers can make confident decisions faster.
Call WrightWay first at (941) 379-8669. You do not need insurance approval to begin emergency mitigation – your policy requires you to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and calling a professional restoration company is exactly that. We begin documenting damage and stabilizing your property immediately. Then report the claim to your insurance carrier within 24 hours. Having professional documentation from the first hour strengthens your claim from day one.
Yes. WrightWay has extensive experience supporting claims with all major insurance carriers in Florida. We prepare industry-standard Xactimate estimates and provide comprehensive documentation to support your claim. Our goal is to give you everything you need to present the full scope of damage and necessary repairs to your insurance company.
If your claim is denied, WrightWay can provide additional documentation such as detailed moisture reports, thermal imaging, and photo evidence to support your appeal. We can also connect you with reputable public adjusters and attorneys who specialize in property insurance disputes in Florida. Thorough, professional-grade documentation is often the key to a successful appeal.
For emergency mitigation (water extraction, board-ups, tarping, etc.), we complete the full scope of emergency work first and invoice afterward – we never delay our response for pricing discussions. Our contract includes typical Xactimate rates for emergency services, and we can provide a ballpark estimate upon request. For reconstruction and mold remediation, we provide a detailed written estimate before any work begins. WrightWay bills the homeowner directly, and if you have insurance coverage we provide all the documentation you need to submit your claim for reimbursement.
A public adjuster is a licensed professional hired by the policyholder to negotiate the claim settlement amount with the insurance company, usually for a percentage of the payout. WrightWay is not a public adjuster. Our team focuses on providing thorough documentation, accurate estimates, and detailed reporting that supports your claim and clearly outlines the scope of work needed. We do not charge a separate fee for preparing this documentation.
WrightWay provides comprehensive claim documentation including pre- and post-restoration photographs, infrared thermal images, daily moisture readings with psychrometric data, detailed Xactimate estimates, equipment inventory logs, and a complete project summary report. This professional-grade documentation meets or exceeds the requirements of every major insurance carrier and helps ensure your claim is processed accurately and promptly.
