Collier County Restoration Services
From Naples' luxury waterfront estates to Marco Island and Golden Gate, Collier County faces unique coastal restoration challenges.
Collier County anchors the southern end of Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, a region defined by luxury waterfront living, pristine beaches, and a level of hurricane exposure that demands serious preparation and reliable restoration partners. The county is the largest by land area in Florida, stretching from the Gulf beaches of Naples and Marco Island eastward through Golden Gate and Immokalee all the way to the vast wilderness of the Big Cypress National Preserve and the western Everglades. With a population approaching 400,000, Collier County’s real estate market is anchored by some of the most valuable residential property in the southeastern United States, with median home prices that rank among the highest in Florida.
Hurricane Exposure and Storm History
Hurricane Irma made landfall near Marco Island on September 10, 2017, as a Category 3 storm with sustained winds of 130 mph, driving devastating storm surge across Marco Island and pushing flooding through Naples’ coastal neighborhoods from Crayton Cove to Vanderbilt Beach. The storm caused billions of dollars in damage across Collier County and exposed the vulnerability of even the most well-built luxury properties to wind-driven rain and tidal intrusion. Hurricane Ian in 2022, though centered on Lee County to the north, still delivered punishing storm surge and flooding to Naples and the surrounding communities, inundating the Fifth Avenue South corridor and pushing water miles inland through the Gordon River and its tributaries. Prior to Irma, Hurricane Wilma in 2005 struck Collier County from the east after crossing the Everglades, causing widespread wind damage and flooding that caught many property owners by surprise.
Diverse Communities, Diverse Restoration Needs
The county’s mix of high-value estates in Port Royal, Pelican Bay, and Grey Oaks, luxury high-rise condominiums along the Gulf shore, gated golf course communities throughout Naples and Bonita Springs, middle-class subdivisions in Golden Gate, agricultural properties in Immokalee, and the planned community of Ave Maria in the county’s far east creates an extraordinarily wide range of restoration needs. Each community has its own building characteristics, flood zone designations, and insurance considerations that a professional restoration company must understand.

The Naples Storm History
Hurricane Ian (September 2022) came ashore north of Collier but pushed devastating storm surge into Old Naples, Naples Bay, and Marco Island. Naples Pier was destroyed. Multi-million-dollar waterfront homes took 8 feet of brackish water. Insurance battles over wind-vs-flood causation dominated the 2023 calendar.
Hurricane Milton (October 2024) crossed central Florida but Naples saw 60-80 mph gusts and rain bands that exposed weak points in roofs and stucco from Ian-era partial repairs. We documented dozens of “second-event” claims where Milton damage triggered scope re-opens on Ian losses.
Naples-Specific Loss Patterns
- Old Naples and Aqualane Shores: $5M+ waterfront homes with custom millwork, antique furniture, and art collections. Specialty contents restoration is required, not just structural drying.
- Marco Island high-rises: tropical-storm wind-driven rain past stack drains and roof penetrations. Stack-flood events affect multiple units.
- Pelican Bay condos: aging supply lines in 1980s construction. Pinhole leaks behind tile and stone surfaces are expensive to access.
- Naples Park and Vineyards: HVAC condensate-line failures common in summer humidity months.
- Estates and Golden Gate: well-water and septic issues complicate sewage backups. Different scope than city-sewer losses.

We had the best experience with Wrightway! We had a flooding incident from our AC system that seeped into the walls and under the laminate flooring. They were prompt, professional and did a great job drying out and cleaning up everything for us! We also had them do the repairs and we were 100% impressed with their work! Everyone we came in contact with in the office and into our home were respectful and knowledgeable. They worked with us on a great price! We can't say enough about a great experience during a stressful time! A special shout out to Alicia who was great to work with! Thank you all so much!
Verify on Google →Richie Correa with Wright Way was fantastic. He was punctual, efficient and educated me through the whole process of cleaning and sanitizing our air vents. Answered all my questions and was honest and knowledgeable with over 25 years experience. Highly recommend!
Verify on Google →Had a great experience with Wrightway. 3 weeks ago my townhouse had major water intrusion, wet drywall, and water everywhere. The HOA called them at 3pm and by 5pm the crew was onsite with dryers and tearing out the wet drywall. The techs wore shoe covers, were very professional, and made sure to cover and drape unexposed areas. Fernando the project lead called me every other day to keep me updated on the dry out and remediation. The had infrared moisture meters and some pretty high tech stuff. Fernando coordinated with the exterior work to fix the leak, and the interior drywall replacement. I have heard horror stories about remediation companies ripping people off, but this is absolutely not the case with Wrightway. They turned a horrible situation into nothing more than a mild inconvenience. 5 stars for everyone I came in contact with. Great job
