Standing water is extracted. Saturated drywall is removed in flood cuts; saturated insulation is bagged and disposed. Where mold growth has already started, containment is established before any disturbance.
4. Structural Drying
Commercial dehumidifiers and air movers dry the structure to IICRC S500 standards. Daily moisture readings document progress until materials reach dry standard.
5. Antimicrobial Treatment
Exposed framing and substrate receive EPA-registered antimicrobial application to prevent mold growth during the rebuild.
6. Reconstruction
